The Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1738 represents over 200 members in the school bus and mass transit industry. We represent: the employees of Laidlaw Transit, Inc. of Latrobe at their Latrobe/Greensburg facilities who service the Greater Latrobe School District, Greensburg Salem School District, Jeannette School District, Greensburg Central Catholic, Ligonier Valley, and various public and private schools throughout Westmoreland and Armstrong Counties; the employees of Pennsylvania Transit Services, Inc at the Adamsburg facility who operate the Westmoreland Transit buses throughout Westmoreland County; the mechanics division of Student Transportation of America who service the school buses for Penn Trafford School District and STA over the road vehicles at the Strawpump facility; the employees of Mid-County Transit, Inc. at the Kittanning facility who operate the mass transit buses in the Kittanning area.
